Michael Darlington is a fashion stylist with a nostalgic and emotive point of view. Michael studied Fine Art, then Fashion Photography in London, where he began assisting renowned menswear stylist Simon Foxton. Grounded by his education in the arts, Michael’s transition into styling has been organic. His work cultivates a cross disciplinary approach to image making, encompassing his interests in art, culture and identity. Known for his tactile approach, his work is ethereal, confident and wearable, often with a sense of humour and vibrancy.
Michael is based between New York, Paris and London. He contributes to titles including Vanity Fair, GQ and Interview magazine amongst others. Michael has collaborated with leading photographers such as, Jesse Gouveia, Andrew Jacobs, Casper Kofi, Charlie Gates, Daniel Arnold, Daragh Soden, Dham Srifuengfung, Hill and Aubrey, Joachim Muller-Ruchholtz, Ronan Gallagher, Samuel Bradley, William Waterworth and Yann Faucher.
